A family improving a tired semi detached house on the popular Tranmere Park in Guiseley. Having completed numerous projects on Tranmere Park we knew the limits the house could be extended to and designed a part two storey / part single storey front, side and rear extension forming family room, sitting room, WC and garage with two additional bedrooms and en suite above.

Details:
The existing courtyard was an area that the owner wanted to extend his house into. The Old Cow Byre is within Lindley conservation area so a sympathetic extension was needed to preserve and enhance the existing building, after some discussions with Harrogate planning department a fully glazed system was chosen. The finished design incorporated structural glass and aluminium.

A family wanting to extend their Victorian semi detached property in Nabwood. A two storey side extension forming a ‘quiet’ second sitting room and down stairs WC to avoid the trek upstairs and on the first floor a fourth bedroom and en suite.

A unique extension bridges the gap between the front of the property and a detached garage. The extension forms a new entrance lobby to the house and makes the garage much more usable as an integral part of the house.
