Nestled between former farm cottages and outbuildings within designated Greenbelt land, the former barn and garage structures lay disused and in need of some work. A feasibility scheme was produced to convert the structures into 2No three bedroom houses with a slightly unconventional internal arrangement. The living accommodation and private bedroom spaces were flipped, so that all bedroom spaces were to be located at ground floor level, with open plan living at first floor within the roof space taking advantage of the space, views and character of the existing king post trusses
